ALRIGHT, GET READY, SET AND GO!! … HERE IS THE 4-1-1 POLICIES:

I prefer cash for payment, or a personal check for all services…  I do take debit cards, and credit cards, however, there is a 3.5% convenience charge on credit and debit cards. As part of my ongoing efforts to maintain sustainable operations and continued success of my business, I have implemented a new policy regarding credit card and debit card transactions to offset the increasing processing fees incurred by my business.  This surcharge will be communicated to all of my customers at the point of sale though signage, placed prominently at my checkout counter.

24-HOUR NOTICE OF CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY:

My time, like yours, is very valuable.  ABBEY ROAD STUDIO HAIR SALON is now requiring a credit card on file to reserve your appointment, and I will require a credit card on file for billing purposes.  (Therefore, I have a 24 hour cancellation polity if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.) 

Out of respect, I am kindly asking that you provide me at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the booked service price, and missed appointments without notice will be charged 100% of the service price.

I NOW HAVE A HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY in effect beginning OCTOBER 1, 2026.  I understand that emergencies happen, however, I ask everyone to please contact me as soon as possible, However, I respectfully request that all appointment cancellations should be made at least 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE of your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. (This policy is to protect myself from loss of income and to allow other clients the opportunity to benefit from my appointment time if you fail to show up for your appointment,)

** I understand that circumstances may be delay you for your appointment, however, if you are more than 15 minutes late, I may have to ask you to reschedule your appointment.  Please contact me as soon as possible if you expect to be late, and I will try my best to accommodate you. 

HELLO…. NEW ADDITION:   For your convenience, ABBEY ROAD STUDIO HAIR SALON has now upgraded my telephone system so that you can call or text your messages or concerns or questions 24/7! …   Beginning October 1, 2026, you will now be able to call or text me with concerns or cancellations to 815-459-3600, and I will respond as quickly as I possibly can.  However, I will need you to provide me with a cell phone number that I can add into my new phone system! ~   I will be sending reminder texts regarding your scheduled appointment time the day before your appointment!   (Please take in mind that I DO NOT WORK ON SUNDAY OR MONDAY.  (My weekend!)

That, by definition is “a cost estimate of the approximation of a project”.  A price quote may not be the final cost of your hair service, however, I will do my best to keep you within your budget.

*I will not discount the price of my haircuts if you come with wet hair, or leave with wet hair.  I am a full service salon, and my prices reflect a full service. 

*I will not entertain discounting my color service if you ask to bring in your own color . (I will not apply box hair color, or color purchased from “Sally’s). I use a hair color of which I have extensive training.) 

*I cannot guarantee that if you have used box color to “touch-up” your roots, that I can make a color correction that Tocco Magico Professional Hair Color will cover or correct…
